Through seasonal journeys along Lake Erie, quiet late-night study sessions, and moving into our sunlit first apartment, we learned that enduring love lives within the grace of everyday kindness. “In the gentle cadence of ordinary days, our devotion quietly took root.”

To preserve the serene, historic intimacy of The Arcade and ensure every guest shares in this sacred milestone, we kindly ask for your thoughtful adherence to these wedding guidelines.
Are children invited to attend the celebration?
While we treasure the children in our families and friendships, our ceremony and reception will be an adults-only celebration. We deeply appreciate you making childcare arrangements in advance so you may join us for a restful, festive evening.
Can I bring a plus-one guest?
Due to the strict seated capacity of our historic setting, we are only able to welcome guests formally designated on your invitation. If your envelope was addressed with a guest or partner, their presence has been reserved.
What is requested for the unplugged ceremony?
We invite you to be entirely present in the moment with us. We kindly ask that all cell phones, tablets, and personal cameras remain silenced and put away during the processional and vows. Our professional photography team will capture every detail beautifully, and we will happily share the gallery with you.
What is the expected dress code?
Formal or Black-Tie Optional. We welcome floor-length evening gowns, elegant cocktail attire, and dark suits or classic tuxedos, reflecting the architectural grandeur and romantic spirit of The Arcade.
What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?
The doors of The Arcade will open at 4:30 PM. We respectfully request that all guests take their seats by 4:45 PM, as the processional will commence promptly at 5:00 PM and entry doors will be closed during the vows.
